3 things struck me when I first met Dr. Emy.
First, the similarity in our purpose and vision.
Second, the fact that she’s a self-proclaimed “Spiritual Rebel”.
And third, she sees her work not just as a career, but as a movement. #hellyeah.
Her impressive Bio makes a loud statement “Dedicated to breaking patriarchal chains, Dr. Tafelski's vision is a world where authentic self-expression fosters a more harmonious society.”
This is her movement!
There is something so powerful about seeing a woman claiming herself. A woman who doesn’t wait for anyone to bestow a title or assign a task. Dr. Emy has proclaimed that she is here to help herself and women unweave the Patriarchal Threads and then re-weave the tapestry of our soul with beautiful, vibrant colors we choose on our own.
This is a movement I can get behind!
Like every other Woman, she didn’t start here. There were losses, some that shattered her, and questions such as “Is there all there is?”
She embarked on a long healing journey to find out who she really is, with traditional therapy and when therapy didn’t go deep enough, with deep, spiritual soul work.
“Part of the journey was, removing the threads of patriarchy from my system and reclaiming the feminine and really getting into my own relationship with the divine and really creating a foundation there and unweaving trauma and like doing all of this work around the tapestry of my soul.”
Today she creates bespoke "Soul Weaving Experiences” for women so they too can unweave the threads that create a disharmonious note and weave the tapestry of our soul with threads we want to keep, such as “Always Worthy”, “Enough” etc.
There are so many moments in this episode that are worth mentioning, such as:
How Patriarchy is an insidious system that surrounds us and is very much a part of our psyche whether we believe it or not.
Exploring the concept of the soul as a tapestry, where each thread represents our experiences, beliefs, and societal conditioning. Dr. Emy guides us through the process of identifying and removing the disharmonious threads of Patriarchy, allowing us to re-weave a tapestry that resonates with our true essence and worthiness.
Re-claiming the feminine as an essential part of re-claiming our authentic self.
“For me in my healing journey to consciously reclaim the feminine and consciously align myself with the divine with a female face, it to me feels like a rebellion to everything that I've ever learned…..in organized religion….so for me, my spirituality is a lived relationship with the divine and it's not it's not based on religion…..it is my relationship with the divine that works for me and i think that the more we consciously create relationship with the divine the more we shed this shit that we've been told is like the be all end all and like the freer we become and the more divine we become”
We also discuss the misconceptions around people-pleasing, the difference between Toxic Masculinity and Divine Masculinity, and the potential for toxic femininity when out of balance.
The importance of balancing The Masculine and Feminine within us for holistic healing
We explore the transformative power of authenticity in personal healing and its ripple effect on the world. By embracing authenticity, individuals can cultivate self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-compassion, leading to a more harmonious and empowered existence.
Dr. Emy's work and teachings serve as a reminder that authenticity is not only a path to individual healing but also a catalyst for positive change in the collective consciousness.
